E3 Highlights: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

e3 is just around the corner. a day to be exact. are you excited? well, you should be! there are quite a number of games announced for e3. some are new, some are remake/refresh to old series. nevertheless, these games will keep you occupied until the next e3.

First stop, we have Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. a sequel to
the 2008's franchise, the game is set 6 months after the events of its predecessor. the story will be more personal and appears to be darker than the first.

Starkiller is the protagonist of the original game, a secret apprentice to the fearsome and gruesome Darth Vader (yes, the same joker in the Garmin's GPS Star Wars campaign ad. haha). Without the knowledge of the Emperor Palpatine, he was brought up and trained by Darth Vader himself to make him the ultimate Sith warrior to do his dirty errands. After killing Starkiller's jedi father, Kento Marek in Kashykk, Darth Vader saw the true potential of Galen Marek, a young boy who is strong in the Force.

"You were weak when I found you. Now your hatred has become your strength."

On the first game, players are given the choice of 2 possible endings, either to kill Darth Vader and take his place serving the Emperor as Lord Sith Starkiller or to kill Emperor Palpatine and end up dead. HAHA, PWNED!

Lord Sith Starkiller

Enough about that, the sequel continues the story of Starkiller's death and follows the story of his clone. With bits and pieces of memory left from the protagonists, the clone is on a quest to find his true identity to find Juno Eclipse. Expect a dark cruel twisted version of Starkiller. Also to expect the game to be in a bigger scale, better Euphoria physics engine. The Force continues on 26th October 2010. Be sure to set your calendar alerts!

Welcome. Yokoso!

Finally, the podcast is up. I'm glad to introduce my gaming and podcast bros, huss, ton, ventri and insecure. Slowly building up a podcast is hard work, crazy and frustrating at times. Thanks to these bunch of people, the effort has become an amazing fun experience. Sure our early podcasts might sound lame by comparison, but there is no place to go but up. Do take a listen, and enjoy. Feedbacks would be great. Everyone is invited. Like our tagline implies "Got space ar broooooo!!!"...
